Czech Republic
Prague was largely undamaged by WWII, and the cityscape is beautiful and stunning.
Its compact medieval centre remains an evocative maze of cobbled lanes, ancient courtyards, dark passages and churches beyond number, all watched over by an 1100-year-old castle. Sightseeing in Prague means strolling through an old town square, pounding the cobblestones between old fortifications, historically resplendent streets, majestic church fronts and listening to the echoes of a busker's violin. And if this isn't enough then make use of the numerous art galleries, museums and concerts available.
Now seen as a beacon of European high culture its night life is quickly becoming famed and a big draw to touring sides with cheap prices on offer for its finest beer and dumplings! Whatever your tastes there is something for everyone in Prague.
The Czech Republic is most noted for its footballing exploits but nowadays rugby, hockey and basketball are all rising in both popularity and ability among many age groups. With such a variety of cultural exploits to enjoy and excellent sporting opportunities available Prague could be just the place for your touring team.
