Hungary

Budapest – Pearl of the Danube!

Hungary is situated in Central Europe’s Carpathian Basin and the language is spoken by no other people. Hungary will lure you with its fine wines and famous thermal spa’s. With the second largest reserve of thermal water in the world, an encounter at the warm springs will leave you feeling utterly relaxed and rejuvenated.

The graceful capital, Budapest, is a city where people are on the move at all hours of the day and night. There are enough concerts, festivals and sports events in Budapest to satisfy even the most committed culture seeker. The Sziget Festival in August, Europe's biggest, wildest and longest party is a must – there is so much going on that it will be sure to test even the most energetic of visitors. The river Danube, Europe’s second longest river, has been an essential waterway for centuries and flows through Budapest on its way to the Black Sea. The famous river flows through or forms the borders of an astonishing ten countries.

Budapest also offers a mouth-watering selection of restaurants and an array of bars and clubs that will be sure to keep the night owls out until the early hours!
