Europe
Our most popular tours.
European destinations are numerous and varied and with the likes of Amsterdam, Prague, Dublin and Barcelona among the favourites, wherever you choose to go you can be assured of competitive sport and a culturally rich environment.
Below we take a closer look at some of the more popular locations but please also check out our Suggest a Destination page for something different.
Malta
With its large British presence Malta is an excellent destination for a touring side with sports such as football, rugby, cricket and netball widely available. All levels are catered for and with warm winter sunshine it is the perfect place to escape in those dark winter months.
Malta has embraced modernisation in a restrained way allowing visitors to enjoy a refreshing balance of convenience and untarnished local charm. Valletta is the main destination, a beautifully preserved 16th-century walled city, small enough to cover in a few hours without wilting too much in the Mediterranean sun.
Alternatively you can slip off to the tiny neighbouring island of Gozo for some serious peace and quiet. Gozo has a distinct character all of its own and great diving, with 30m of visibility, warm water and dramatic undersea vistas. Many beaches also offer watersports including windsurfing and jet ski hire.
Malta offers the high-energy to the low-octane with rock climbing, caving and paragliding to the simple pleasure of relaxing on the beach. Discover sandy coves and rocky inlets almost deserted, even in high summer, the perfect way to unwind between matches.
Nightlife can be as fast-paced here as in any European city and if your timing's right, nothing beats a summer ‘festa’ where Saints, fireworks, food and fun are all part of the entertainment!
