Poland

Poland - Back to the future!

Poland is situated in the heart of Europe and, for centuries, has been the bridge between East and West. Over the past decade, Poland has developed into a modern, vibrant and progressive country that is fascinating to the visitor.

Warsaw, the capital, has evolved substantially over the years and is now a transformed city with sky-scrapers, extensive shopping, bars, clubs and restaurants. The Old Town, with its beautiful square, remains stunningly picturesque and is a must see.

Poznan (situated in Western Poland) is Poland's fifth largest city and is another area that has undergone great development over recent years. The locals are a welcoming bunch and are very proud of their revamped city which includes a national museum and music academy along with many new restaurants, bars and cafes.

Krakow (situated in Southern Poland) is a fascinating area of Poland and until the end of the 16th century was the Polish capital. It is one of Poland's oldest cities and was the only major city that remained relatively undamaged from World War II. As a result, Krakow is full of history and is listed as one of the twelve most historic sites in the world.

Whichever area you chose, Poland is sure to provide everything you with everything you need to ensure you have a genuinely memorable experience.
